I agree with Craig....... first part of the song reminds me of Sammy Hagar era VH.

I know I'm late commenting on this (as usual) but this one is really cool! Love the sort of jazzy chord at the end of the main progression (is it a minor 7?). Looking forward to hearing how this develops!

The chord structure is
(Picked arpeggio up, two notes down) Dsus2, then strummed Dsus4, D+5, D. Chord progression is Fmaj7, A/C, D#Maj7, A#
Repeat but stop on D#maj7

This is tuned down though, Eb at 432 hz not 440
