No mic'ing on this gig, Caev. The bar we played is small enough that there was no need to mic anything other than the vocals. We didn't even use monitors and were just fine. We used a small board & powered monitors on stands for our PA and it worked perfectly. I didn't even have to turn up too loud and I carried just fine. I've been using one of those small amp stands that tilts the amp back and it helps alot in projection. My brother used his Jet City JC20 and was just fine with no mic too. The only thing different that we did was to use a combo bass amp to mic the bass drum. Something as simple as that made such a big difference in overal sound. :thumb: It was our bass player's idea and it worked like a champ!

That is soooo cool Greg! I am very happy for you getting this cool 65 Amps Lil Elvis!

So with some slapback, I bet it kills for rockabilly?!

I have been high on 65 Amps for awhile now. Way to go!

Hey Greg....

Did you get a chance to try out the Tupelo as well?
Just curious.

Thanks,

Randy

No, they didn't have one in stock. Only the Lil' Elvis and a Stone Pony head, which is way more than I'd need.....plus it was way outta my price range too. The Tupelo is pretty new, so there's not many of them out there at the moment. But I'd still like to try one out.....or maybe not....... :D
