iPhone and battery life

Post by Verndog » Thu Nov 29, 2012 2:39 pm

I have an iPhone and am sure other do too. I use it a lot at work looking up manuals and or troubleshooting check lists ect. Well always dies by afternoon. So I picked up a "Mophie juice pack air". Not only a case, but back up battery system. I will let you all know what I think about it. If you all have something for this let me know. Price wasn't bad.

I use a Droid A855. I can change batteries but this is still interesting. Does it work with Droid?

No red, but I believe Mophie makes one for a droid too. It is a two piece case that encapsulate the phone and allows button access. Here is a link to mine. From there maybe a droid is listed.

Ok. Had phone and this pack fully charged. Used phone a lot with iBooks phone calls flashlight angry birds ect till phone hit 3%. Then turned on juice pack. Within an hour phone back to 89% charge before pack shut down. Yep. It works well .

Very cool! One of the main problems I've seen with iPod Touch and iPhone is that the batteries don't last very long. After two to three years, they only last a couple of hours before they are out of juice and the battery is in need of replacement. This would not only multiply the hours you get, from the start, but also lengthen the amount of time before you need to send it back to the shop for a new battery.

I like to plug a power strip into itself. The current loop generates infinite free electricity!
I've come up with a solution that I honestly think works out best for one of both of us.

Cool. I really want a solar charger but so far I haven't found one with good reviews and I don't want one that works half way.

BTW If you want to really tax a device use Pandora to listen to music!

The phone has my iTunes library... plus most of the time I need to have ear plugs in due to machine room noise, and if I turned up volume to compensate, it would be too loud.
