Dewd...this rocks!
I've seen this one advertised and was just blown away!

Well, it seems that Santa has stopped by your area a little early. :thumb:

Enjoy Don.

I know this was posted quite a while ago but I'm late to the party- Don, that is just flat out perfect!
I've had a couple originals pass through my hands over the years- that baby nails it. Wow.

Hey Brit..........I'd put this guitar down for about a month, and was playing others......and, after picking it up yesterday and plugging into an old JMP/half stack, it blew my mind again!! Great tone in this puppy........I've put 11's on it, and love the way it plays, but I have to have the neck tweeked to "flatten out" the action just a tad.

Just what strings did you put on there, Don? I mean the 11s?

I really like 11s on a Les Paul, and I absolutely  LOVE  the solid/pure nickel wrapped, round-cored "Pure Blues" sets in .011" - .050" gauges from DR. They're just perfect for a Les Paul type. Just ask Derek and Warren! I highly recommend that you try 'em on that particular guitar, you might never put anything else on it.

Are they nickel-plated steel (wound strings), or solid/pure nickel? (I know D'Addario makes both.)

Sorry for the delay, Caevan.....I've got the nickel wound D'Addario 11's on my Burst Brother's Les Paul. I had the neck adjusted and the action is right where I like it.

This guitar is simply amazing.............like an old friend that you never want to part with.
