Good morning, campers!

You work hard, try to raise your family and kids right. And then, your kids do stuff like THIS!!!

My youngest, Jeff......you all know Jeff. He's my very own "Clapton meets Indiana Jones"!! He and his gf, Jordan, are on the final flight on their way to an archeologic dig in northern Ethiopia.

yea......Ethiopia.

They flew from L.A., to DC, then a 13+ hour flight from DC to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. They are currently about 5 minutes from landing their final flight from Addis to Axum. From there it's about an hour drive to "the dig".

When I grow up, I wanna be Jeff........

Jeff and Jordan are back........27 hours of travel.......a turbo prop from Axum to Addas Abbaba, Ethiopia, followed by a jet to Heathrow, followed by a jet to Newark.....

Words don't do justice to how great it feels to have your kids home for the holidays.........perhaps a bit more special after such a journey!!
